The most awful experience with a vet in my life. I've had many dogs and am an experienced, intelligent and caring owner. I took my dog here for emergency surgery that never happened in 6 torturous days. Not only did they kill my dog - they lied to me while doing it. I sleep only 1 night out of every 3 when I am so exhausted I can't stay awake - otherwise all I can think about is how much my dog suffered at their hands the last few days she was alive. She was brought here at the request from my primary vet for a CT scan and emergency surgery for a pelvic tumour, which was blocking her colon. They never cleared her colon in the 5 days - they kept telling me they would do it during the surgery that also I was told would be "soon" and never happened. They said I could not take her home so they could operate "immediately" as soon as they got a 2nd advice. The vets always spoke with us about her condition in the waiting room in public. Day 5 I noticed she had a swollen split lip, she drank 2 bowls of water from us at our visit and her mouth was dry and full of junk - I asked the vet (now the weekend vet) and she seemed bemused, and was saying she hadn't noticed. I was upset and said that she seems drugged - she said it was morphine - I asked why they were giving her that. She said it was because she was crying. No treatment for her actual blockage or to reduce the tumour size was given - just morphine. I told the vet she was so thirsty - she acted like this was a surprise. We took my girl on a half hour walk around the clinic - with our other dogs, who were so happy to see her. I visited her every day she was there. I was told she was doing well each day. Then Friday it changed - the surgeon told me he was "happy to do the surgery" but wanted to wait until Monday so his "full team" would be there for her recovery. On Saturday she was drugged up. The vet said that the next day we could have a room to visit with her in, rather than outside as every other day when we visited. Now I see she was planning for my dog's death. On Sunday afternoon, we were shocked. Grace could barely even raise her head. I asked why we were not called and the vet said "well I knew you were coming in anyhow so I didn't want to bother you" (!!!) I said "she is dying" the vet insisted she was not dying "yet". I asked them to give her antibiotics - her urine bag had dark brown red tiny amounts of urine and she was completely and totally dehydrated - her tongue was like sand paper and now she had 2 wounds on her swollen lips where they split from being stuck to her dry teeth from no water. She said my dog was lucky to be on so much morphine so she could not feel what was happening. She insisted she would not change the morphine treatment and her "mission", was to "deliver" my dog for surgery. Either she is the most incompetent vet in the world to not recognise a dying animal or she was actively killing my dog. My last memory of my poor girl is the vet telling us to leave and me trying to go back in because Grace had struggled to her feet because we were leaving. I said, she'll fall over ! Grace's eyes were pleading with me. "She's fine!," the woman vet with grey curly hair told me, slamming the door in my face. That is my last memory of my loyal friend of 12 years. 2 hours later she called to say our beautiful dog was dead - just 30 minutes before her shift ended as a coincidence. A dog who'd been walking around the prior day. She either overdosed her on morphine or let her die of septicaemia - but what she refused to do was to help my dog, and refused to let us be with her in her final hours, claiming she was fine, and saying she'd be operated on the next day. My primary vet had to get her records because they refused to give them to us, despite the nearly €1800 fee paid. We got no death certificate - we had to get that from our local vet so she could be cremated. After she died, they refused to call me despite my calls & mails. The records showed more horrors - that she'd had convulsions and vomited up her own faeces. We were NEVER TOLD.

Im gonna tell you they robbed me and they made my dog suffer. My dog had cystitis, they said they did ultrasound, they said they tested her pee and found out the bacteria. They didn’t do any of this in front of you. My dog was not even wet from the exam but they charged it 300 euros. 3 days later she was in excruciating pain, screaming and with fever because they gave her the wrong antibiotics. This place should be closed. Her name is Pandora and she’s a Husky. Shame on you!

The emergency care of my mini Schnauzer’s stomach problems was by the book, on the second visit they applied the required treatment so he was back on his feet in less than a day! Thanks again to Dr. Chaumeil.

Maybe I had bad luck but I had a very bad experience with this clinic. My dog has a malign tumor and I followed their recommendation taking all the necessary exams before surgery and the results were promised in 8 to 10 days. The first exams came incomplete, we had to contest, and the second batch of exams we had pressure the clinic almost every week to get them. No apologize whatsoever, just a round “we are not to blame, it’s life, it’s the corona, it’s the weather…” Those exams included a biopsy my dog had to do and no treatment was given to handle the post biopsy. She vomited, had diarrhea and got dehydrated. When I called the clinic, they told me to handle it with my usual veterinarian, no responsibility taken here either. The tumor was identified in the end of May and we were still playing around at the end of July not having a specific strategy to get the tumor removed. I don’t think they inform the customer correctly and they target profit instead of the animal’s well-being.
