I never left a review at the time, but it recently came up in conversation and I had to say a thank you to everyone here. We were travelling around France for the rugby World Cup 2023. Unfortunately, whilst in Lyon, our dog (Buster) became badly ill. We still don’t know what caused it but he wouldn’t have lasted the night. The vets here undoubtedly saved his life and he made a full recovery. Forever grateful for the work that you all do here. He is 13 now and still loves his food and walks

My cat Ji Ji had a life threatening event and they treated him well. I could not afford the suggested treatment so they advised me on an alternative treatment which showed much improvement for Ji Ji in three days. I now need to ask them the cost for a pet passport for the European Union.

We used this vets when travelling from south of France back to the UK for our dogs tapeworm treatment. We got an appointment the same day and it was only €16, very friendly and English speaking. Highly recommend!

The clinic was recommended to me, in particular a dermatologist. One of the ears of my cat was bothering him and we went to the dermatologist of this clinic. The doctor was considerate and also decided to measure blood pressure of my cat. The pressure was high and, apart from treatment for the ear, we left with treatment for lowering blood pressure (amodip 1.25mg). On the third day my cat was really refusing to take the pill for blood pressure, I still gave the prescribed half of pill for the 2 weeks, towards the end I noticed that my cat's poop changed color to almost white and he didn't have much appetite. Once I stopped the blood pressure pills, he felt better, returned to normal appetite. When we came back for a follow up, I told the story of blood pressure pill, and that I am worried it's making him worse. Instead of offering to test the blood to be sure, the dermatologist insisted i now doubled the dose of amodip.2 days later my cat started to feel bad, he couldn't eat, he didn't leave his bed. I kept giving medication thinking that maybe it will help him improve.. here afterwards i blame myself for not stopping the medication and not going to the emergency sooner, but my cat died in their emergency.. there was nothing to be done, they said it was sudden kidney failure.. I don't think the dermatologist did everything right.. and she is dermatologist, she should have sent us to another veterinarian.. I lost my friend in december...just also make sure you ask all your questions about your petand make sure they make all the tests before prescribing a treatment.

In the last year and a half, we have needed emergency services for two cats related to old age, and in both cases, the clinic was kind and did their best to take care of them. Unfortunately, one of the cats passed away, but the clinic stored his body for us as we looked for the best place to lay him to rest, even though it took nearly a month, due to the lockdown and restrictions related to the pandemic. Now, the associated clinic is treating his sister for stomach lymphoma, and overall, the level of care is very good. Sometimes, communication is a little difficult since our French is not the best, but the staff has good intentions and it seems to me that they truly care about the health of their patients.
